Options Screen

Delete History:
Delete cookie automatically on exit: ให้ UltraSurf ลบ Cookies ก่อนจบโปรแกรม
Delete history automatically on exit: ให้ UltraSurf ลบประวัติการท่องเว็บก่อนจบโปรแกรม
Close IE immediately on exit: ให้ปิด IE ทันทีที่ UltraSurf จบโปรแกรม
Do not close IE on exit:

Tools >> Inter Options… >> Connections

Firefox

Firefox

Tools >> Options… >> Advanced >> Network

Settings…

Why You Should Get A Laptop

Now that you have now a new computer, you have a difficult situation. If you have a desktop or laptop? Desktops are fine if you have a keen player, but laptops are the ultimate choice for the average consumer. Therefore, in this article we will examine the many benefits of owning a laptop.
Mobility

One of the biggest advantages of owning a laptop is that it is transferable. You have more to live behind a computer. With a laptop, you can take outside work is a road machine, and almost anywhere, with a socket. In addition to this part of the portability of a laptop computer to enable users to be social than desktop users. Laptop users can chat with their friends and peers when doing their work at the local cafe.

Productivity

It is now also a proven fact that the laptops can increase productivity, businesses and educational institutions are catching up and are either required or gives laptops to their employees and students. It is shown that only 1-7, the portable computer users find their laptop adds to the stresses at the same time taking into account that most of their laptop computer made them more productive.

More compact

Compared to desktop computers, laptop computers are smaller and take up less space. It is an advantage in areas where there is little room for small office or student room student. Given its small size, portable computers are also easier to maintain, you do not have to worry about the ventilation air is blocked by dark balls, and portable computers are also more profitable because they use less electricity than desktop computers.

Performance

In addition to the handheld computers and games are similar to the results, if not better than the desktop machines. Modern laptops can now run the program, which previously had been involved in heavy desktop computers. Moreover, unlike the desktop users, the portable computer users more likely to use their laptop to and not entertainment and, in general, to install the software they need. Users of portable computers are generally aware of security and are less likely the infection spyware and malware.
Finally, if you want to export, babble noise, the power of suction machines produce heat and caught another office with a laptop computer.

A great companion you want on Acer Aspire One AOD150-1165

I order my Acer Aspire One 10 / 1 netBook (AOD150-1165) on 28th February 2009 by Amazon. Item sent on 2 March and arrived on 14 March.
If only I order Sapphire Blue color was available, but I am happy to sapphire blue. It seems very attractive. I would normally either black or white model, but I am happy that they are not available:) The only thing I regret is that there may be fingerprints, and I try not touch the glossy surfaces.

If you unpack the box and hold it on your page, you will identify, as may be (especially if you were a nail in 17 "laptop), which is not portable and ideal for all small aircraft code tables (or knees)

The 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor is a single-core processor, but it is quite caustic and can be more than sufficient for most office-type use. The netBook with w/SP3 installed Windows XP instead of Vista for me if it makes you react as well as (or better) than a Core 2 Duo based laptop with Vista.

The unit is very quiet. The noise of the fan or hard disk is minimal. The fan is not often Kick in normal use. It might be more active with some serious CPU / HD activity tasks.

The screen is 1024x600 Crystal Bright (bright) type LCD, but very easy to read under different lighting conditions. It is an integrated suite of 0.3 million megapixels (640x480) Webcam and microphone built into the title screen. Ideal for using a video-conference by phone, like Skype software, etc. BTW, for some vertical space on the desktop, you can taskbar on Windows XP auto-hide and pop-up, if Moving the cursor over the edge of the screen.

The keyboard is quite well developed. Unlike some competing models, the Shift, Control, Alt, Tab, Enter, Backspace, all the buttons in the right places. At first I found the keys a little small, but after a few days of use, get used to fight and avoid both. The arrow keys, would be a bit bigger than here and there at the bottom right of your keyboard.

The touchpad is a Synaptics model and is very configurable. Like any other, it is a bit small, but acceptable works well. It would have been better if he explains. Key touch is another story. They are just below the touchpad, but instead of two buttons, independent designers to a bar on the two keys. Therefore, the keys much harder to push. I would have preferred, two keys. I think the biggest complaint on the netBook. However, the buttons, we can smooth over time. I have soft pressing of both ends of the button bar at the same time several times. I do several times before using the laptop everyday. It was not as desperate.

Now I can try me for the build-in keyboard and mouse, but those who work can still make regular USB keyboard and USB mouse. For example, Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 is perfect.

You can press the touch pad instead of the button. The Synaptics touchpad is very configurable. You can one corner of the touchpad to the right of the mouse and elsewhere, would be left.

The speakers this is netBook. They are strong enough and the sound quality is very good. However, since the opening speaker netBook bottom, if you continue on a soft surface like a carpet or the bed of sound can be steamed, as openings is locked. This is not a very good picture of him on the smooth surfaces for a long period, because it is blocking the fan and fan as well mean that the netBook overheating.

There is 1 GB DDR2 SODIMM RAM on the module installed (I was Samsung). There is no On-Board-soldered memory (the description on Amazon is incorrect and is on the old 8.9 "model). The store is easily expandable to 2GB by replacing the SODIMM module. I update memory 10.1 "Aspire One 2GB of installing a" Mushkin 2GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2-667 (PC2 5300) Notebook Memory - Retail Module (Mushkin Reference # 991618). It works great! Please note that this module has CAS4 (4-4-4-12) is more common CAS5 (5-5-5-16). In other words, it is a little faster memory, because they are least expected, they say:)

The hard disk is a Hitachi HTS543216L9A300, 160GB 2.5 "5400rpm, Serial ATA, 8 MB cache hard drive. It is quite quiet. I think there is enough space for most applications. Pour plus d ' information, you can an external USB hard drive or hard disk drive itself can be updated almost as easy as the RAM.

The chip wireless (AR5007EG) is supported and Atheros 802.11b / g. The area is fairly decent. I had no problem connecting to my wireless access point at home, work or other free public hotspots. I have wifi in Starbucks, Barnes and Noble bookstore and McDonald's, among others (I WiFi in those places, because I-AT & T DSL). Some users report that some problems. The Atheros driver is installed by default is old (version 7.6.0.260). The last I've found for the AR5007EG wireless chipset is version 7.6.1.244 (from 2/25/2009) and I think that resolve, that some people experience. (Like the comfort, I have the instructions at the end of this review to access the updated drivers) characteristics of the device indicate that the installation of Wi-Fi chips for maximum energy savings. In fact, as the RAM and hard drive, the wireless module is also available. Who knows, someone (or Acer) would be a replacement of the 802.11n standard or a module WiFi + Bluetooth Combo.

There is no build-in Bluetooth capability. If you use an interface with Bluetooth devices, you need to buy a USB adapter Cirago as BTA3210 Bluetooth v2.1 EDR Class 2 Micro Bluetooth Adapter you can use a combination with a Bluetooth mouse, as Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Black) Update: It seems, Acer Aspire One AOD150 build models for some Asian markets come with build-in Bluetooth. It is a pity, Bluetooth is not available for the American version. : (

Like many other early adopters, came with the laptop Built Panasonic 5800mAh, 59W battery. It lasts for 7-8hrs in the usual framework of nature, with Wi-Fi is enabled. This greater capacity of the battery boat normally (4400mAh, even 6 cells), but all have so far most of the major.

There are 3x USB 2.0 ports, 1 port Ethernet 10/100, 1 x VGA port external monitor and a single multi-format Flash Card Reader / Writer (again, our description is not properly on the 2nd SD card slot) . There is also an external microphone and headphone jacks and a Kensington Lock Slot-style.

There is also a 3G SIM card, a chip near the battery. My netBook was slit, but not 3G, there is material for the SIM card. Probably, some models are equipped with wireless technology, 3G.

Unlike 8.9 "predecessor, this 10 / 1 with a pattern of cases. I have a neoprene cover, a storage facility for a 11" laptop (Sony VAIO 11.1-inch neoprene protective case). Please note that 6 cells, the width of the battery is about 8.5 netBook. "So most of the 10" case width of about 7-8 "or are not as important or required to choose your case. In fact, I personally had two cases. The neoprene cover is in a larger 12-13 "handheld with enough pockets for the charger and cable. When I click on a coffee, I only netBook nuts and the rest in the car.

The netBook no system recovery discs. It is an Acer recovery program pre-installed, your hard drive to rest. They should do so as soon as possible. You never know when you need it. You need a CD-ROM / DVD and media (6 CD-R for the recovery system and Apps + 2 drivers, or in 2 DVD-R 1 recovery + DVD-R and Apps drivers). I bought NU Slim Super Multi Drive external USB DVD ESW860 worked well for me. It is quite close to netBook with the DVD and you can if you wish. They should be allowed, on another laptop or desktop computer with USB 2.0 interface. Update: You can also a number of new discs directly from Acer for $ 20. You need to Acer support Web site and click www.acerpanam.com United States on the map and choose "Buy CD eRecovery. It checks the serial number of your first netBook.

In addition to Windows XP Home, MS Works is a trial version of Microsoft Office 2007, a 30-day version of McAfee Anti-Virus Suite, and a few others a demo version is installed. These can be uninstalled via the Control Panel, if desired (or necessary).

On the whole I am very pleased with him and highly recommended. Of course, I can not speak here Customer Support / Service, as I do not need to use the service. If your goal is your usual applications and navigate with dignity, the screen size is the right path.

Updated: Update Atheros AR5007EG WiFi driver:

You can download version 7.6.1.244 (2/25/2009) Pilot Softpedia. Jump to drivers.softpedia.com AR5007EG and enter at the cutting edge of research. Download the zip file (ar5_ar9_7.6.1.244.zip) and unpack it. Then go to Install_CD subfolder, and run setup.exe. If you choose to update the driver. It is easy and painless ... If you still have problems with driver update, change the channel of your AP / Router. It is possible disturbance in proximity to an Internet connection wireless router / access point. Good luck!

Different functions of the computer users of a laptop great world of technology, based on ideas for a specific task. A copy of a CD-ROM of data to write your own code, laptops can be used as desktops, adding effectiveness and efficiency of their small size easy to carry.
Given that you are not an expert, but you must know that some of your desktop computer the most important functions and components, the procedure is simple, you can more closely to a computer portable, make sure you will not regret it two weeks after purchase.

Review Arguably the finest 10" netbook with a few caveats

The Asus 1005HA series is comprised of 3 models. Best Buy offers the 1005HA-B for $299 (plus tax). It features the N270 (1.6GHz 533FSB) cpu, glossy display, 3-Cell 23Wh Li-ion Battery (4 hrs), and a 1.3MP webcam. Excluded are the Bluetooth module, 10GB online Eee storage, and netbook sleeve. This is obviously the "Basic" model. I was able to demo this unit at Best Buy on June 27th, and IMO you are giving up quite a bit for the ~$65 savings over the 'P' model. Not to mention that as of now Asus will not sell you a spare 3 or 6-cell Li-Ion battery.

Amazon and other e-tailers offer the 1005HA-V for $339-$349, and the most notable change is the matte LCD. Those that frequently work outdoors or despise reflections will appreciate the matte display. It also features a N270 cpu, 6-cell 48Wh Li-ion Battery (8.5 hrs), 0.3MP webcam (according to Amazon specs, but it may in fact be 1.3MP), no Bluetooth, and absent again is the netbook sleeve.

So in a nutshell (or would that be seashell?) the 1005HA-P offers the faster N280 cpu, glossy display, 1.3MP webcam, 6-Cell 63Wh Li-ion Battery with a whopping 10.5 hrs run time, Bluetooth v2.1, and a black netbook sleeve.

All three units come with the Digital Array Mic which consists of two powerful microphones. Ambient background noises are eliminated, as well as reduced echoes for clearer voice recording. What's more, with only direct sound (within 60°) recorded, you'll obtain better voice capture. I've tested the mic with Skype, and it's loud and clear once you fine tune using the Realtek HD Audio manager. All models also include a WiFi 802.11 b/g/n adapter and 160GB 5400RPM hard drive. My 1005HA-P contains a Hitachi HTS543216L9SA00 hard drive and Atheros AR9285 wifi card. Atheros chipsets are known for excellent range and are typically less prone to connection drops. I'd like to point out that the AR9285 is only capable of 150Mbps.

All three variations ship with 1GB DDR2 800MHz memory. The good news is that you can remove the memory door on the bottom of the chassis and swap it out for a 2GB DDR2 200-pin SODIMM in under 2 minutes. Amazon offers the Crucial 667 & 800MHz modules for under $27. I installed the 800MHz module (CT25664AC800) since it offers more headroom and will step down to a lower FSB if needed. The 667MHz module should clock past its rated speed, but if your module doesn't then it could lead to instability. I'd recommend running a Prime95 "Blend" torture test for 12-24 hrs to make sure your system is stable.

Now that I've provided my $.02 on memory I'll briefly touch bases on the Eee Super Hybrid Engine utility. It lets users overclock or underclock their Eee PC's to boost performance or provide better battery life depending on their immediate requirements. In Super Performance mode CPU-Z shows the bus speed to increase up to 169.9MHz which translates into roughly 1.7GHz. Woot! One way to quickly change modes is to press Fn + spacebar.

The glossy LED display offers excellent color and contrast when used indoors. I was also pleasantly surprised with the excellent horizontal viewing angles. Keep in mind that once you get in a room full of light or step outdoors screen reflections could become annoying. I've used mine outside on a sunny day, and the screen is still very much legible. In fact it was much more detailed than the matte screen on my Dell D600.

Apparently the 1005HA-P Black was "under review" for several days, but the Blue is in stock and ready to ship direct from Amazon. According to some Amazon reps it ranges from complaints regarding the 'hot' ac adapter, charging issues that are a direct result of the end user not pushing the micro-sized right angle end of the ac adapter until it snaps in place, and quite possibly the Asus rebate. While the ac adapter does run hot while it is actively charging the battery, which Asus clearly mentions in the user manual, I've felt other ac adapters get just as hot. Therefore one should not be alarmed over the heat output.

Overall I am extremely satisfied with the 1005HA-P, and it is arguably the best 10" netbook on the market. Keep in mind that if you want a White or Pink shell you'll be limited to the 'B' or 'V' models. Asus has already released the two aforementioned colors in Europe & Asia, so hopefully by the end of 2009 we'll get them as an option on the 'P' model. Be sure to check out the Amazon community forum for this product located towards the bottom of this page if you require additional enlightenment. You'll find a lot of tips, tricks, and general FAQ's.

Get yourself a book that would acquaint you with the basics of a laptop or search the web. Make sure you gain a basic understanding about the hardware of a laptop - CPU, hard drive, memory, optical drives, graphics, motherboard chipset, mouse, sound system and whatever else there is to know.

This information is vital and you can learn to identify a good laptop from a not-so-good laptop when the hour of reckoning comes. If this sounds like too much work, then just ask a friend who already knows these things so he can do all the work while you shop for a leather laptop attach‚ case.
* Determine the Use of the Laptop
Are you looking for a laptop for business, for playing games, or for home use? If you're going to create programs, use a lot of graphics, or process large amounts of data, a high-end laptop that has bigger memory space and higher processing speed is your best bet. This is quite pricey.
On the other hand, lower priced laptops are good enough for surfing the net and typing letters and articles. Laptops that have too many functions aren't going to be useful to you anyway. So ditch the high end one for this instead and have some extra cash to splurge on a high end laptop attach‚Trust Well-Known Computer Stores
Established computer shops have their reputations to protect. But as soon as you enter the shop, ask a guide to help you with your purchase. Enumerate what you want your laptop to do for you and what you do not need. Listen to his suggestion but do the deciding yourself. Before you leave the store though, be sure to get the guide's or the manager's business card so you can call them up when the need arises.
Some laptops come with a laptop case upon purchase, while some do not. They just come with a cushioned cover so you will definitely need to buy your laptop attach‚. At least this time, you can make your choice after looking at the laptop attach‚ case inside and out.

Mac OS X. It's what makes a Mac a Mac.

Power of UNIX. Simplicity of the Mac.
Mac OS X is both easy to use and incredibly powerful. Everything--from the desktop you see when you start up your Mac to the applications you use every day--is designed with simplicity and elegance in mind. So whether you're browsing the web,
checking your email, or video chatting with a friend on another continent, getting things done is at once easy to learn, simple to perform, and fun to do. Of course, making amazing things simple takes seriously advanced technology. Which is why Mac OS X is built on a rock-solid, time-tested UNIX foundation that provides unparalleled stability as well as industry-leading support for Internet standards.

Stunning graphics.
The most striking feature of a Mac is its elegant user interface, made possible by a graphics engine that's built to leverage the advanced graphics processor in every Mac. This engine provides the power for things like high-definition video, stunning graphic effects, and high-quality animations. Fonts on the screen look beautiful and extremely readable. A soft drop shadow makes it clear at a glance which window is active and which ones are in the background. Document previews using Quick Look are high resolution so you can actually read the text. And built-in support for the PDF format means you can view and create PDFs from almost any application in the system.

Perfect integration of hardware and software.
Since the software on every Mac is created by the same company that makes the Mac itself, you get a completely integrated system. When you have a Mac notebook, for example, it automatically detects and connects to available Wi-Fi networks. It wakes from sleep as soon as you open the display and automatically reconnects to networks so you can get back to work fast. And it gets the most out of your battery by spinning down the hard drive when it's inactive, by intelligently deciding whether the CPU or GPU is best suited to perform a task, and by dimming the screen in low-light conditions.
Dock + Finder
The Dock in Mac OS X provides fast, one-click access to frequently used applications, folders, and even downloads from the Internet. The Finder makes working with your files and documents as easy as browsing your iTunes library.

Introducing the Finder.
The Finder is like home base for your Mac. Represented by the blue icon with the smiling face, it's one of the first things you see when you start working on your Mac. It lets you organize, view, and access practically everything on your Mac, including applications, files, folders, discs, and shared drives on your network.

Time Machine
Never again worry about losing your digital files. Time Machine automatically saves up-to-date copies of everything on your Mac--photos, music, videos, documents, applications, and settings. If you ever have the need, you can easily go back in time to recover anything.

More Power to Your Mac.
Since 2001, the breakthrough technologies and rock-solid UNIX foundation of Mac OS X have made it not only the world's most advanced operating system but also extremely secure, compatible, and easy to use. Snow Leopard continues this innovation by incorporating new technologies that offer immediate improvements while also smartly setting it up for the future.

Laptop Crime is on the Increase: How to Protect Yourself From Laptop Theft

Submitted By: David Lakins

For most people owning a laptop is all about convenience. Being able to sit where your want to work, wander around from office to office, sit in front of the television or even browse the web in bed are the reasons why laptops have become so popular.
It has also become much more than a work tool. For many people it is the place where you keep all the things that are important to you: your email and financial information, business secrets, personal writings, even irreplaceable media like photos, film, and writings. So if your laptop were stolen from you tomorrow, what would it do to your life?

Even worse, if a laptop belonging to your business were stolen that contained the personal data of customers or clients, it could put all of them at risk of identity theft and you could be held liable.
This crime draws both the common thief and the more sophisticated identity thief alike, and it's on the rise in England. Last year, a laptop belonging to the Nationwide and containing the personal information of over 11 million customers was stolen and never recovered. In London, laptop theft is up 15% on last year, with over 6500 laptops stolen in 2006 (not including laptops stolen out of homes and offices). Other metropolitan areas in Britain have similar statistics: over 2000 in Edinburgh with a 31% increase, and a 15% increase in Manchester.
Having a laptop stolen is personal nightmare if it is your own machine, but so much worse if you lose information that compromises your friends, co-workers, and clients. At Marks & Spencer's, a laptop lost in 2007 contained sensitive data about 26,000 employees, including their national insurance numbers and other personal identifying information. That cost Marks & Spencer's free credit checks for all employees and a promise to cover them for any damages if their identities were compromised. In the Nationwide case above, the company was fined just under a million pounds.
And even if you get the laptop back, even if the laptop was only "borrowed" its data can be copied off in minutes, putting any data on it at risk even after the machine is returned.

Two simple steps protect yourself against losing your personal computer?
The First Step: Protect Yourself
Laptops are at risk due to the very portability that makes them useful. It takes only seconds for someone to carry off your unguarded laptop, along with all its precious contents. The first thing to do is not leave it unprotected, even for a minute; keep it in sight. Get good security on your wireless connections while you're at it, and carefully choose the places where you use that connection.
You can also get physical barriers against using a stolen laptop. For instance, biometrics including fingerprint scanners has become increasingly popular with laptops, and key cards that you keep in your wallet or luggage separate from the laptop can been used to secure it. Computers with hard drives mated to internal workings prevent your hard drive from being removed and copied. And if your laptop is used to access the Internet after it is stolen, there are subscription services that can trace it remotely and render it unusable whilst it connects to the web.
The Second Step: Consider Laptop Insurance
Laptop insurance is becoming one of the fastest growing specialist insurances. With low-cost monthly premiums having some form of insurance policy could be the one thing between you and financial ruin. Laptop insurance is cheap, and if you have used other protections for your laptop, it gets even cheaper. Many providers offer worldwide cover, accidental damage protection and a 48 hour replacement service.
Protect yourself physically with laptop security and financially with good laptop insurance. With luck, you'll never have to depend on either. But if the worst comes about, you'll be glad you did.

The Basics

Processor: The Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 processor has a 2.0 GHz processor speed, fast 800 MHz front-side bus (FSB), and 2 MB L2 cache. (An L2, or secondary, cache temporarily stores data; and a larger L2 cache can help speed up your system's performance. The FSB carries data between the CPU and RAM, and a faster front-side bus will deliver better overall performance.)
With two computational execution cores in a single processor, it provides greater system response when running multi-threaded applications simultaneously with no significant increase in power consumption. It's optimized for multitasking and is ready to support the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. It can simultaneously run multiple demanding applications--such as graphics-intensive games or serious number-crunching business productivity applications--while downloading music or running virus-scanning security programs in the background. Some of the advanced Intel innovations of the Core 2 Duo processor include:
Smart Memory Access: Improves system performance by hiding memory latency, thus optimizing the use of available computer data bandwidth to provide data to the processor when and where it is needed.
Advanced Digital Media Boost: Effectively doubles the execution speed for instructions used widely in multimedia and graphics applications.
Dynamic Power Coordination: Coordinates Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology and idle power-management state (C-states) transitions independently per core to help save power.
Deeper Sleep with Dynamic Cache Sizing: Saves power by flushing cache data to system memory during periods of inactivity to lower CPU voltage.

Hard Drive: The large 320 GB Serial ATA (SATA) hard drive (5400 RPM) offers a wealth of storage space, perfect for storing a vast multimedia collection or for editing digital video. This SATA hard drive also quickens the pace with a higher speed transfer of data--akin to Firewire and USB 2.0.
You'll enjoy enhanced hard drive protection with HP's Protectsmart, which includes a 3D accelerometer that safeguards your data by parking your hard drive if your notebook detects any range of motion, such as being knocked off your desk, falling or taking abuse.

The gorgeous and functional details of the DV4-1227US.

Memory: The 4 GB of installed RAM helps boost the amount of available video RAM that's shared with this notebook's video card. This notebook has an amazing 8 GB maximum RAM capacity (4 x 2 GB). To receive the faster data transfer benefits of the dual-channel DDR2 RAM, any RAM additions require memory modules of same capacity and clockspeed.

DVD/CD Drive: This multiformat DVD/CD drive is compatible with writing both DVD+ and DVD- disc formats as well as dual-layer (DL) DVD+/-R discs, which can store up to 8.5 GB of data. It features 4x DVD-R DL Write Once, 2.4x DVD+R DL Write Once, 8x DVD+R, 4x DVD+RW, 8x DVD-R, 4x DVD-RW, 16x DVD-ROM, 40x CD-R, 24x CD-RW, and 40x CD-ROM speeds.
This LightScribe DVD±RW drive lets you laser-etch silkscreen quality text and images on to CDs and DVDs . Your software, PC and discs work together for a no-hassle way to burn just the labels you want. After you burn content, just flip the disc over, reinsert and burn your label--anything from a simple title to a full-disc work of art.

Keyboard & Mouse: This notebook has a 101-key keyboard and a touchpad with on/off button and dedicated vertical/horizontal Scroll Up/Down pad. It also includes two quick-launch buttons (HP QuickPlay Music and DVD).

Preloaded Software

HP MediaSmart Software Suite: Your one-stop multimedia and entertainment center to create photo slideshows, share personal videos, listen to your favorite music playlists and watch DVD movies.

A Great Combination - Laptop Computers And Laptop Printers

Submitted By: Terry Roberts

A laptop computer, also called a laptop, is a mobile computer, which is small, lightweight and portable. Laptop computers normally run either on a single battery or from an AC/DC adapter or power supply unit. This adapter charges the battery even while providing power to a computer. Laptop computers and laptop printers are a modern technology that does not restrict you to one specific room or even area.
Laptop computers are extremely popular due to their portability. They use less power and are quieter than desktop computers but are a little slower and more expensive.
There is a large range of accessories available on the market today for laptop computers that make working much more convenient and easier. These accessories range from laptop printers to mini zip drives to mini hubs to security locks. They sell most accessories separately from laptop computers and design them to add convenience and meet the user’s needs.
Laptop printers are important accessories to use with laptop computers. Gone are the days of having to return to your home or office to print documents that you need immediately. There are now laptop printers, or mobile printers, that provide people with the power to print their documents while traveling on the road. This is not only convenient but allows people to be far more productive by saving time. A wireless USB adapter is an uncomplicated plug-in component that turns your laptop computer into a wireless communication device. You can link laptop computers with laptop printers, mobile phones, handheld devices or any other devices using Bluetooth technology. This system has built-in security that lets you safely transfer information and makes using cables, to transfer data, unnecessary.

There are backpacks or carriers specially made that allow you to transport laptop computers or laptop printers safely and these are just great for business people that travel, students or anyone requiring a portable computer and printer. The backpack carrier has more storage room than a regular carrier. All carry-cases are water resistant, safe for carrying and come in a wide range of designs and colors. Extended-use batteries are another great accessory allowing people to use their laptop computers and laptop printers when there is no power supply handy. For eye-level ease of reading, portable desk stands let you tilt the computer, which lessens neck and back strain, so the user is not typing flat or looking down. They are lightweight, portable and easy to use.
Shopping online for laptop printers and laptop computers is a great way to compare products and prices from numerous retailers without having to leave your office or home. With most people living such busy lifestyles today, this is a great way to relax while shopping.

Acer Aspire One AOA150-1447 8.9-Inch Netbook Review
Great little gadget By Dave

I've had mine for 3 days now, and it's been really hard to put down and walk away from. Obviously the poratability of it is a big reason, but also because the 6 cell battery lasts so long that I feel like I can just leave it on for a while without feeling the need to keep powering it down or charging it all the time. Also, boot up and shutdown times are a lot faster than my regular laptop.
The build is very solid. There is no flex in the screen or keyboard. I'm not sure how it would hold up if dropped on a hard surface, though. I hope I never have to find out. Keyboard response is nice. The keys don't feel cheap or like they would snap off if more than a little pressure is placed on them. Keys are close to regular size so typing on it doesn't take much getting used to, if at all. The screen is highly reflective and the outer coating has a glossy finish, which I don't prefer because it leaves fingerprints too easily and makes it difficult to see the screen in the daylight. But I'm willing to live with this simply because the computer has so much else going for it.

This computer uses the 1.6 GHZ atom, which is the standard processor included with most ultraportables right now. I've noticed that I can run some moderately intensive software on it, but not smoothly for long periods of time. I tried loading some music software for which a 1.4 GHZ processor is recommended (Native Instruments Absynth 4), just to see how well it would run. I found that it was capable of operating, but it was easy to make the CPU spike if I played more than a few notes at once. Not that I was planning on using this a a music production tool, but I was interested in seeing what I could get away with in case I find myself stuck on an airplane or car trip with my Aspire One and a pair of headphones and want to play around with sounds a little bit. Native Instruments FM8 wasn't so processor intensive and operated much more smoothly. In short, I got about the best response I could have hoped for with the processor and soundcard included. Fairly functional for light doodling.

Windows Media Player 9 was included in the software bundle, so I decided to upgrade it to Windows Media Player 11. I don't know if this was such a smart move, as version 11 may be more resource hungry. I was playing some mp3's while simultaneously updating my music library and the program started hanging on me after about 20-30 minutes. I closed and reopened the program and resumed what I was doing and after 5 minutes, the program again started to hang. By this point, I decided I had been testing the limits of this system for quite a while and the processor was running pretty hot by this point, so I decided to turn it off and put it down for a while.

RAM-wise, it comes with 1 GB and is only expandable to 1.5. I've heard that it is difficult to reach the RAM slot and that it involves taking the computer apart, so I've decided that the marginal increase in memory is not worth the hassle, particularly since the limited processor would not allow you to run much, if any, software that would require more memory than you already have pre-installed in this little thing, so it seems like a moot point to add memory.

The 160 GB hard drive is probably the largest capacity hard drive currently shipping pre-installed in the world of ultraportable PCs, and so far i've only seen it in the latest Aspire Ones. It's the traditional 5400 rpm HDD notebook drive. I like the higher capacity because it means that this computer can double as an additional storage drive to back up files, music, photos, etc. I would not have this luxury if I bought one of the other models on the market with low capacity solid state drives.

I've read reviews of the older Aspire One model and it seems a lot of people had difficulty with the Wi Fi not finding an internet connection and also bios problems. I don't know if Acer addressed these issues in this newer model, but I have not experienced any problems with either so far. If I do, I'll update my review later. So far, this has been a great little toy. You just have to remember that it was not built for intensive computing or high performance, and manage your expectations accordingly.
